How do I refer myself for an ultrasound exam?
Appointments for an ultrasound exam are made either once we receive a referral from a healthcare professional (e.g. your GP, physiotherapist, consultant, etc) or once you have been assessed by one of our senior doctors.
What is a therapeutic ultrasound?
A therapeutic ultrasound is similar to a diagnostic ultrasound but there is also a procedure, such as an injection being carried out at the same time.
