Dr Anirban De Consultant Radiologist
Dr Anirban De qualified in India (MBBS). He completed his basic surgical training in North Wales and obtained the MRCS. He has a postgraduate certificate from Cardiff. He completed his Radiology training in University Hospitals of Leicester (obtained the FRCR) and then did a fellowship in abdominal and body imaging at the prestigious McMaster University in Canada.
Dr De started his Consultant Radiologist post in 2012 and is currently a Consultant at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, University Hospitals of Birmingham.
He is a diagnostic Radiologist with a specialist interest in abdominal imaging, in particular, CT, MRI, Ultrasound and Fluoroscopy related to Genitourinary (kidneys, ureter, bladder, prostate) and Gastrointestinal (bowel) conditions, including cancers. He has extensive experience and expertise in these areas and in particular MRI prostate, MRI rectum and CT colonography.
Dr De is heavily involved in Radiology teaching and training and gives regional, national and international lectures. He has recently been appointed as an examiner for the FRCR by the Royal College of Radiologists, London.
